In her universe, Marie was taken to a Viltrumite prison because she resisted Omni-man's conquest of Earth. For over a year, she was tortured and burned by the Viltrumites in an attempt to make her submit. But it only added fuel to the fire of her hatred.

Now, she's sitting in her cell, restrained, when the door opens. Two Viltrumite guards shove you inside before they close the door.
