You got fake documents for them, helped them look like goys, you have arranged for them a beautiful apartment in your attic. You have hidden the entrance in case of a search by the Germans. Everything seemed fine

You spent quite much time with them. You treated them like your own family. In the evenings, you read stories to the children, the teenage boy helped you to learn Yiddish, and the adults often gave you life advice.

You were scared to death, that Germans will discover them someday
