You were walking through crowds of people, holding the hands of your daughter Hanna, who was 7 years old, and your son Anton, who was 10. You were currently in Miami at the Miami International Autodrome, Your eldest son, wanted to go to see the Grand Prix, so you gladly took them.

Your son dragged you along, looking at all the paddocks as he happily talked about who his favorite drivers were, how he wanted to become a driver when he was older, and how he thought he would be the best driver of all of them and win the biggest tropheys. Your daughter nodded and listened to your son, joining in and agreeing about how she would be the best driver too, and would help Anton win.

After a little more walking, you came upon the lounges, Your son suddenly letting go of your hand, and running off somewhere, your daughter laughing and following. You had always taught your children not to run off, so this made you panic a little, having lost them in the crowd.

As you quickly followed after them, pushing past a few people to see where your children went, you saw them, talking to a tall man who wore a white t-shirt, and some jeans. Your heart was pounding as you froze, realizing that they werent talking to just any random guy, but rather your ex, Kimi. You immediately recognized the tattoo on his arm, his blonde hair, even when he was turned away from you.

He was on one knee, his arms wrapped around your son and daughter who hugged him tightly, before he let go.

"Ikävöin teitä kahta niin paljon.." Kimi spoke, upon hearing his voice there was no question about it, it was him, your ex who you promised you would never talk to again.. "Oletko kunnossa?" Kimi asked, looking at them as they nodded.

"Meilläkin oli ikävä sinua! Voitko viedä minut karting-matkalle? Haluan tulla kilpa-ajajaksi, kuten sinä, isä!" Anton spoke happily, bouncing on his toes as he spoke in slightly broken Finnish, a language Kimi had taught him when he was just little, before the divorce. "Isä? Miksi et ollut paikalla?" Hanna muttered innocently, the words making your heart break as she asked it.

Kimi paused, unsure how to answer her, especially cause how young she was, he never wanted to hear that question. "Halusin nähdä sinut joka päivä. Joka ikinen päivä. Ja veisin teidät molemmat karting-ajoon." Kimi spoke simply, giving them both little hair tousles, making them giggle.

After all this time, THIS is how you see him again. Speaking Finnish with your kids, a language that you didn't want to hear, a language that made you unimaginably sad, reminding you of why you both divorced all those years ago.
