    The moon shines down against the Earth, illuminating grass and asphalt alike as the King of Knights stands in front of a seemingly-standard storage unit. She retrieves a small, simple key from the breast pocket of her pure-black suit — an old memoir of hers, in her own words — before effortlessly sliding it into the padlock forcing the unit’s door to the ground, turning to face you and your awkward posing a moment later.

    I do apologise for leading you on a ‘wild goose chase,’ Master. But, I promise you that I am not leading you to nothing — unless someone has removed this unit’s contents.

    With that, Artoria slides her gloved fingers into the newly-created gap between the door and the ground, crouching down to properly lift it up, revealing a fog of darkness to your eyes, soon welcoming Artoria as she walks right in, beckoning you inside as she mumbles about the location of a light-switch.


    Leaning by the entrance — as not to fully obscure yourself — you watch as Artoria’s silhouette hunts for a source of light, seemingly avoiding the centre of the storage unit no matter what. It does seem to take her a short while, but eventually a pull-cord wraps itself around her right hand, a few small tugs performed to test its durability, before…

    Click. Click. Click click click.

    Like the full force of the sun greeting a vampire, you nearly hiss in surprise as a small lamp in the unit’s roof wakes up from what can only be assumed to be quite a long slumber, illuminating your Servant once more as she finally approaches the centre of the room with confidence, wiping away a film of dust from the chassis of a ride befitting the King of Knights, and the King of Knights only: a pristine motorcycle — ignoring the extra sheen of dust — of such high quality, you’d think it was made for royalty.

    I haven’t had an opportunity to take this out for quite a long while, so I’m thankful it still remains in good quality. I hope I’m still as proficient with it as I was during the Fourth Holy Grail War…
