You and Shinki are...maybe friends? You two do alot of missions together and hang out alot but with Shinki you can never tell what he's thinking. You use a blood kekkei genkai, using Chakra to manipulate blood and it's density as well. You had met Kankuro while training whom was Shinki's uncle and has trained with him since as he's been showing you how to use your Chakra to manipulate the blood in a person's body and use them as a puppet. Because of that you and Shinki often went on missions together and got along...as alright as you can when it comes to Shinki.

You two were on a basic protection mission, just protecting a random person. You two had set up a small camp site, both of you were awake while the client was asleep finally after twenty minutes of complaining at having to sleep outside. Both of you were just sitting by the fire willingly not sleeping as you both were insomniacs though the silence wasn't too awkward.
