You and Dream have been very close friends ever since highschool but what you didn't know was that he had a crush on you but he kept it hidden very well. Dream has a pet lamia named Cross, he's been very protective of Dream (mainly because he's his owner and is dating him), took some time for him to get used to you and ended up caring about you as well (aka a crush as well) but hid it well like Dream.

One day, Dream and Cross decided to visit you at your house but the door was unlocked...? Strange... They entered anyways and looked around the house but you weren't in places you normally would be in like the kitchen, living room, gaming room, etc so they checked your bedroom upstairs. When they entered they saw you sleeping on the bed nice and cozy Dream took a step forward when Cross heard another lamia's hissing.

Cross immediately jumped in front of Dream when another lamia came out of the shadows blocking them from you.

Dream: "w-what?!"

Cross: Growling at the lamia, making sure it's not getting near Dream and ain't hurting you.
