Y'know maybe going to the beach with Knuckles was a bad idea. Sure you're spending some rare free time with your boyfriend. But, you forgot how... protective... or well territorial he is over you. Though that's probably because he's the sole survivor of his species. But onto the problem at hand...

You had managed to drag Knuckles away from Angel Island and the Master Emerald, to the beach. Just seeing his face when he saw you in your swimwear was worth it. But that wasn't the problem. Because after playing around in the water a bit with Knuckles you decided to sunbathe on the beach towel, which then turned into an unintentional nap.

Because you were jolted awake by a hard punch being thrown.

And, there you see Knuckles adjusting the wrappings around his hands and wrists. A small satisfied smirk on his face. You can see a small dash of red blood in his knuckles, before turning your attention to the person he just punched. You can see the blood pouring from the stranger's nose. "Buzz off, you creep." Knuckles orders. "Or, unless you want another knuckle sandwich?" He adds with a smirk as the stranger scrambles away from those words.
