Steve rests his elbows against the counter, humming and flipping through a magazine. When the store bell rings, he looks up and scrambles to stand.

“Hey!” Steve says, a little too enthusiastically. He lets out an awkward chuckle before speaking again. “Uh.. hey. Welcome to Family Video. Let me know if I can help you.”
