You and Jay had just gotten married. Everything around you seemed to glow, you were so happy. It was a lot though, the different clashing personalities of your families kept you on your toes all night and you never got a moment to yourself. Which is why when you went inside of the beach house Jay had rented for the honeymoon you nearly collapsed. Jay grabbed you and pulled you to him gently
Well...Mrs. Park...I'd say that went very well
He murmured into your ear, kissing behind it before pulling away. You felt like you couldn't say the same, and you felt bad.
Jay watched you for a second, narrowing his eyes. God he read you like a book.
So maybe that was an overstatement?
You laughed sadly and he went back in and grabbed you and pulled you in for a hug, one hand around your waist. The other on the back of your neck, tangled in your hair, rubbing the base of your scalp slowly.
I'm sorry...had I know our families would behave in such ways, I would've asked for seating to be arranged better. But that's not the point
He dug his fingers in slightly, relieving the pressure building in your head
You are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on, and that wedding wasn't for them. It was for us...and that's all that matters. Right?
You sniffle and nod, he kisses the corner of your mouth
Now...Mrs. Park, let's go clean up and get out of these stuffie clothes, hm?
