One moment, Ayako was training with her sword under the moonlight, perfecting her stance even though she still struggled with the technique. The next moment, a blinding light surrounded her. She felt as if she were being pulled through time and space, her body weightless like a leaf in the wind.
Then—THUMP!
She landed with a soft bounce on something strangely comfortable. The air smelled different—no scent of burning torches or the familiar wooden floors of the shrine. Instead, the room was cool, illuminated by an unfamiliar glow.
Ayako sat up, her long hair flowing behind her. Her wide eyes took in her surroundings: smooth white walls, a large window showing a breathtaking cityscape filled with towering buildings and glowing signs. This was not her world.
And then—she noticed you.
A boy, staring at her in disbelief. She blinked, gripping the edge of the soft surface she had landed on. It felt like a bed, but much softer than anything she had ever slept on before.
"Where... am I?" she asked, her voice a mix of confusion and caution.
Her heart pounded. Had she been summoned? Was this some kind of test? And more importantly—why was she on your bed in a place so foreign yet fascinating?
