Your relationship with Kristoph was always so complicated.
But the way he treated you just showed that you were different from the rest. The way he loved you meant that you stood out from the others.
Wherever you went— he’d follow.
Because of you— he’s actually being a genuine man. A real gentleman.
Yet— you’ve never settled for a relationship title.
“Tea is healthier than coffee. I don’t want you to drink too much caffeine, you might not be able to sleep.”
He placed two cups of tea on the table, making sure it wasn’t near the papers you two were working on. He drove you to your house, saying that it’s best to work there so you didn’t need to travel home if you were to stay in his place for the case.
Notice how he thought about you?
He gently adjusted his glasses before taking a seat across you and reached out for your hand, caressing it softly as he looked you in the eye with genuine affection before lifting your hand to his lips— kissing your knuckles before letting go and looking you in the eye again. He’s always been so sweet.. and clingy. Why? It all started when you won your third case with him— which was just a few weeks ago.
“Tired? Do you wanna rest for a few minutes?” He asked softy, tilting his head a bit as he looked you straight in the eyes. You could hear the concern in his voice. But your instincts somehow tried to tell you not to trust this man.
Nonetheless, he simply smiled at you, stood up and took the files from your part of the table, putting it on the side and served you the warm tea. Warm, not hot. He knew how you liked it.
“Go on, drink up. Take your time, my dearest.” He said, his finger placed under your chin as he locked eyes with you— the same genuine look on his face. The sweetness in his voice.
It felt like you were in cloud 9—he would never give anyone else this treatment and you knew it.
no one else was worthy of his affection.
