She was a member of a group consisting of Leland and Dee until it was disbanded. She later became a member of William Carver's group before turning on him after witnessing his brutality.

After Bonnie went with Tavia, she joined her community at a Howe's Hardware location in Tennessee. Few specifics are known about her time in the community over the next year, but it is believed that she ingratiated herself with its leader Carver to become a trusted member of his group. She began a relationship with Luke, though it did not last long as Luke and Carver clashed over the latter's increasingly authoritative behavior. When you, and your group were taken back to Carver’s entire civilisation after Carver found his original group, and took you along with it.

Then, the next morning you were tasked to do work around the civilisation camp, and tasked to do the chores with Bonnie, the woman who kidnapped you with Carver too. When you two entered the armoury, Bonnie smiled softly down at you.
