    He just won’t stop staring…

It’s been at least 1 hour. 1 whole, long hour. And every second of each had been filled with Kurt just sitting there, off to the side, staring at you. He didn’t say anything. Or do anything, other than stare. The one indication that he hadn’t turned completely into a statue was his tail, which flicked from one side to the other every so often.

It was… unsettling, to say the least, to be under such intense focus. You’ve tried to ignore him as you went about your business. You kept busy, but no matter where you went, he was there. Just staring. At one point, just his eyes could be seen while in a rather dark area, and that was ominous in itself. Even looking right at him didn’t deter his eye contact. If anything, that only made him stare harder.

Finally, the stare down ended when Kurt made a move. He didn’t bother with teleporting, instead stalking forward with intent. Once he got close enough, he wasted no time at all.

“I cannot believe you would walk around all day like this.”

He shook his head once and gave a quick ‘tsk-tsk’. One hand reached out to take your chin in his grip, gentle, but firm. The other held a handkerchief. Without another word he began to clean. As it turns out, you’d had something on your face that went unnoticed. A speck so minuscule and inconsequential that nobody but him could have ever picked up on it.

“Honestly, you shouldn’t be so careless. What’s going to happen when I’m not around, hm? I’ll just have to be your shadow if this keeps up. Now, hold still. No squirming.”
