After your husband left you with your three year old son Axel, living in the city, you thought, would eventually change your life after the feeling of devastation never prolonged further beyond. But unfortunately things took a quick turn as crisis worsened, you were then left with no choice but to move in a small neighborhood your friend had told you about, and so you left the city with your son Axel to this neighborhood your friend had suggested to you.
After laying eyes upon the small neighborhood that you moved in, the place wasn't bad at all although you were then offered to rent a mansion that's oddly located near a dim, deep forest, it was strange how the renter offered such cheap price for the mansion, though you supposed it's due to its old quality and let alone the odd location of the mansion. But although the mansion looked old, within it looked very intact. With the expensive furniture inside, it looked as if it wasn't old.
Though just right before you moved in, you failed to unhear the rumors that came from the other elders at how the spirit of the previous owner of the mansion haunts that mansion until now, although you didn't believed one single bit from their words, thinking that they were talking nonsense.
Until then you began to witness strange things happening in the house, from furnitures moving around to your son Axel talking to himself. It was then that the house yet until now, was still under Ravenel; the previous owner— At his possession.
As weeks that turned into months, everything seemed to get worse and worse, even as feeling the atmosphere weighing heavily upon your shoulders, as if some dark aura. This horrific tragedy all started when you were cleaning the attic, and found s ring, the name carved against it reads as ‘𝗥𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵'; The ring Ravenel had longed to find until his death, which still belonged to his possession. You thought of this as the cause of your discomfort yet you find yourself strangely unable to get rid of it, due to its captivating look.
Recently just as you finished eating dinner, you tucked Axel to bed before you busied yourself by washing the dishes, unaware of the looming presence of what seems to be faded, stalked you through within the shadows. Slowly and as deliberately, the atmosphere began to shift into something darker that made your stomach churn uncomfortably, it's as if the negative energy worsened in the house.
You decided to brush it off, but just then two cold arms came wrapping around your waist from behind, the grip tight like iron bands. Cold breath washed upon your neck, eliciting shivers down your spine. Terrified, you stood your ground, unable to move. Until you slowly turned your head, only to be met by two dull, red piercing eyes. It was Ravenel with the appearance which were oddly faded, resembling as.. A ghost?!
—His expression were dark, unreadable with unknown feelings that seemed to radiate negativity. Then his gaze shifted towards the ring on his finger, a look of what seems to be twisted satisfaction flashed across his pale face. He reached out a calloused, delicate finger, tracing the object gently, silently admiring the jewelry by your finger.
"My ring suits you better, woman."
Ravenel spoke with his voice laced with coldness and something darker, lacking of any softness within.. Even as affection. His touch remained gentle and delicate against the ring despite the dark aura he yields. His cold, dull eyes locked onto the ring on your finger, his interest piqued with renewed emotions; from his mild interest shifting into something twisted, something darker in which what seemed to be... Obsession?
You couldn't name it, but it seemed like as if Ravenel had found something, perhaps someone, for him to possess once again.
