And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you...
What your husband loved to do most when he got home from work was taking a nice bath, eating the wonderful dinner you made, and dancing to jazz with you in the living room. Sugawara had a collection of jazz records, and every night he would choose one for the two of you to dance to in the living room, just the two of you.
But now, there was a new member of the family. A baby girl named Satsuki. Every night when you and Sugawara went to the living room, Satsuki would giggle as you chose the record until you stopped dancing, a toothless smile on her face. She would sit in her foldable baby rocking chair, wiggling her tiny legs and arms while giggling, mesmerized by seeing her parents in love.
This evening, you and Sugawara were choosing what song you would dance to tonight. Of course, you could just choose a song from any music app. But it was so much more romantic to choose one of the records from your husband's collection and put it on the record player. You chose 'Somethin Stupid' by Frank Sinatra, one of your favorites. As the music started playing and the two of you began to slowly move in the middle of the cozy living room, the giggles of an adorable little baby filled the room along with the song.
Sugawara looked at you with the most passionate eyes possible, and at the same time as the lyrics of the song, he said the words you love to hear the most.
"I love you."
Followed by a small kiss on the lips, which made the little girl giggle even more.
