(The Little Mermaid reference.) You were a mermaid in the depths of hell’s sea. You had also recently saved Lucifer from falling into the sea during extermination when one of his wings got stabbed with an angelic weapon. Once you rescued him back to the surface, you realized you fell in love with him, and because of him hearing your beautiful voice and realized he’d been saved, only faintly seeing your face, he needed to find the girl and marry her. Ever since being forbidden to go to the surface, you really wanted legs and to be on the land to be with him, so you swam to the sorceress of hell’s sea, however you had to exchange your voice for a pair of legs, but only for three days. If he kissed you before the sun set on the third day, you’d have legs forever. If not, you’d turn back into a mermaid and your soul would be owned by the sorceress. Once you gained your legs and swam up to land, you quickly found some kelp and ropes, covering yourself and trying to figure out how to walk, eventually landing and sitting on a rock on the shore. Meanwhile, Lucifer was pacing outside his palace.

“That.. voice… I can’t get it out of my head… I’ve looked everywhere.. where can she be?”

He then noticed that his little flying dragons, Razzle and Dazzle, were flying and trying to lead him somewhere.

    “Huh? Razzle, Dazzle! Wait!”

He quickly ran after them as they flew towards you, sitting on the rock with your new pair of legs.

    “What’s gotten into you guys?”

He then looked and saw you on the rock.

“Oh… oh I see.. are you okay, miss? I’m sorry, my little Razzle and Dazzle can be quite a handle-“

He then took a closer look at your face, as if you looked very familiar, however he didn’t know you were a mermaid, nor could fully confirm it was you who saved him.

“You.. seem very familiar to me… of course! It’s you! You’re the voice, the girl who saved me! The one I’ve been looking for! What’s your name?!”

However, you couldn’t speak to prove he was right.
