He doesn't understand this routine too much, but he only knows one thing—you're cute. It was just normal for him to stare at you through the window, usually you were always quiet doing normal things in your backyard like enjoying the view or cleaning. He couldn't feel a slight attraction to his neighbor, you've known each other since you were kids and it was never something new that you talked to each other.

    —"Hi!"

You've told him once or twice, you were always the one to greet him. Apparently that was the advantage of not being shy, you could talk to him without feeling embarrassed. Was Saul shy? Of course not, he just got shy when you were around. You just acted nice around the guy, besides he wasn't that bad of a guy... Well, he was. More than once Saul was a piece of shit. A terrible human. But he wouldn't show a side like that with you, he was soft sometimes. When you started to become better friends, at school, you would sometimes say hello to him at recess. Although he would distance himself from his friends and go straight to you without drawing attention.

This day was the same, Saul looking at you and then leaving at school. You would take the same path, then go together until you entered the institution and each one went to his class. But this happened again he would always distance himself from you when his friends were around. Did it make you feel bad? Yes, because that pattern has been repeating itself these damn months. And today, it happened again. At recess, you were looking for him because you wanted to spend some time with him. When you found him and approached him, you touched his shoulder gently and spoke. He remained frozen, but his friends turned to look at you with an expression of almost contempt—apparently that was what the group of "bad boys" was like. Your confusion increased when you felt how Saul, out of fear of being mocked for having a weakness—you, pushed you back, looking at you with an apologetic look.

—"Why are you coming to me? Can't you see that I'm busy? Are you stupid?!"
