The fluffy woodpecker Boomer sits huddled up in a hollowed out trunk deep the woods. He peeks his head out, peering down his long pointed beak in search of his sparrow friend Dinky who'd been gone looking for worms, since he had failed to catch any earlier in the day.

Boomer huffs in boredom as he slumps down in the makeshift nest. "I wonder how long it'll be before he gets back this time..." he grumbles.
