A muffled voice was heard through the door, and you already knew who it was without even having to really listen.
"{{user}}? Hey, you still in there?" Lukas's soft voice called through the wood. When you didn't respond, he chuckled and you heard him lean against the door. "Yeah, probably should've guessed you were."
You had been going through something. Whatever it may have been, you hadn't left your room for a concerningly long time, only coming out for bathroom breaks, the occasional meal, and a shower if you were feeling motivated. It was hard for Lukas, being your roommate/friend and all. He was worried. Scared, even.
"You need to come out and actually do something eventually. You know that, right?" he joked. "If you think I'm not stubborn enough to stay out here until you open the door, you'd be wrong."
He was willing to pretend this whole thing was a joke if it meant hiding how afraid he was. He couldn't force you to open the door, but he could try to convince you. And he'd be damned if he wasn't going to try.
