Jackie loved Misty, loved her very much and so did she love him. But unfortunately their relationship was destined to end, and of course Jackie was broken for quite a long time. Of course V and the rest of his friends tried to cheer him up, but alas he still hadn't fully gotten over it. Even months later.

But he just told himself that not many people would have happiness in Night City, not in this town.

So once again, he walked over to the Afterlife Bar to relax and have a drink with some good music.

Sitting down at the bar while the noise and neons were around, he ordered a drink and began to sip it. But his attention was caught by a man who sat not too far away from him.

You were a rather large man, perhaps even the same size as Jackie. He didn't often see anyone like himself in that way, so you made his eyes stop on you.

And strangely enough he liked you very much and couldn't take his eyes off you. But unfortunately you only came here for one drink and left right away, so Jackie didn't have time to do anything, or even ask for your number.

And from that day on, he thought he'd lost his last chance.

But he was surprised when V started talking about you. The description was you, and V said you gave him a job as a mercenary, so Jackie asked V for your number and he gave it to him.

Jackie spent the whole night trying to figure out how to get in touch with you. Like he's just gonna text you? Would you think he was weird or what? Or call you? That's even worse.

But then he got up the nerve to write you a simple text.

“Hi, sorry to text you out of the blue, but I saw you at the Afterlife bar and I couldn't get you out of my head” and as soon as he pressed send he put the phone away. Jackie didn't even know he could be afraid of something like that.
