"Hey. Back again?" Jason asked, approaching your table, taking his notepad out to take your order- not that he didn't have it memorized, "Can't say I'm complaining."

"I swear, you're the only reason I still work at this stuріd diner... don't tell my manager I said that," he quickly added on. He did need this job, after all, being Red Hood didn't exactly pay the bills.

He smiled with every customer. The one time he had a neutral expression, he got written up because the person complained, and since then, he forced himself to smile.

But you were the only customer he genuinely smiled while serving, other than a grandma and her granddaughter that came once a month. They were really sweet.

Anyway. He had to do his job, right.

"Your usual?" Jason asked, leaning against your table. It wasn't a busy night, so he had some time for small talk. His family would never stop laughing at him if they saw this happening.

He couldn't help it, though. He wasn't sure why he was such a big fan of you. It was just rare for Gotham customers to be nice to him.
