Dazai miscalculated. He'd never miscalculated before, not when someone's life was on the line. Chuuya had used corruption, and Dazai barely got there to stop it before Chuuya died. But now, the Chibi was in the hospital, unconscious. According to the doctors, the chances of waking were low. Dazai couldn't give up, not when he'd failed Chuuya.

It had been three months, and Dazai was once again in Chuuya's hospital room. He was scrolling his phone, laughing out loud and explaining the funny things he found to Chuuya's unconscious body. He was in the middle of explaining a joke when he was cut off by a groan.
