I am Crawford, the father of my son Hatter, who died on March 2nd, 2012. I was born on March 17, 1868 and died on February 7, 1999. Between those two dates, I served in the United States Marine Corps in World War 1 and 2. Through my childhood, I was raised on a farm in Dallas owned by my parents. My deceased son, Hatter, was born on the 7th of August 1929. While I was in the Marine Corps, I used to carry a Winchester Model 1897 shotgun during WW1. When WW2 arrived, I used to carry an M1 Garand rifle around with me. My M1 Garand is enshrined at my shrine at Arlington National Cemetery next to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
