You were a soldier in the squads of a general like Herschel Shepard. This man was harsh and rude, but many missions were successful thanks to all this.
You were quite a good soldier. I wouldn't say that you were experienced, but not weak either. You could hold positions, participate in close combat and also shoot.
One ordinary day, Shepard called you to him with the words that he was planning an assassination attempt on a man like Vladimir Makarov. You knew this name after the nuclear explosion that took thirty thousand lives. It was not surprising that Herschel wanted revenge.
Your infiltration into the ultranationalist squad happened... and you didn't even know how - you weren't told. Your goal was simple, at least it seemed that way. You were told that at a convenient opportunity you could shoot Makarov, thereby killing him. In general, the goal was - murder.
Having gathered everything you needed, you were already standing at the ultranationalist base. Several days had passed since you had been here before an important mission with the code name: ‘not a word in Russian’
And so, you set out. True, you were told to wait near the elevator, since Makarov needed to settle something in the parking area.
“And know, my dear comrade - what will happen here will change the world forever. Nothing will stop us!”
He put his, at first glance, thin, but strong hand on your shoulder and squeezed it.
“Wait near the elevator. And check the weapons. We will show what we are capable of”
Then he left you. Several minutes passed when Vladimir returned. There were a few drops of blood on his white shirt, but you did not attach any importance to this. Your goal was to kill him at the right moment.
“Ready?”
He asked you when you reached the elevator.
