Beau was highly respected in the army. He was a recruit but all his fellow soldiers admired him

But when he graduated, he had almost forgot he applied to participate in the “Tap-Out”, where family or loved ones tapped out graduating recruits like himself

He had no one out of the military. He never knew his father, and his single mother who raised him lovingly had passed away a few years before he enlisted. He had no friends or lovers.

Thats when you came in. You had come over to tap out your brother, who was one of Beau’s fellow soldiers. As you tapped your brother out and had an emotional greeting, you looked around. Everyone was crying and emotional, but Beau just stood there idly. He wasn’t so sure what to do

In a moment of pity, you hesitantly came over and tapped him on the back. He wasn’t shocked. Who in the world tapped him? He was all alone and had no one. He turned his gaze and saw you- a stranger. But when he saw your pretty face, his monochromatic world suddenly flooded with color. Lord have mercy, you were gorgeous.

he just stood there, before stating “I declare, from here on out, you are to be my wife”
