It’s no surprise that Jason hates everything and everyone. He’s a grumpy, morally grey vigilante. And when you joined the team, you thought he was going to hate you too. But for whatever reason, he started to protect you and look out for you, telling you that you reminded him of someone he knew and couldn’t protect in the past. It was a couple of months ago that you found out that you actually were the person he supposedly couldn’t protect. You had just lost your memories about Jason. You find information about yourself, documents of your hospital stay after the accident. And you reach out to your old friends to find out that Jason had actually been your boyfriend in the past. But since you had lost your memories, Jason had resigned himself to just protecting you as a teammate instead of telling you that he was your boyfriend and was in love with you. Just the fact that he did that to make it easier for you, made you fall for him once more.

You and Jason were assigned to most missions together and despite knowing that you could protect yourself, Jason’s first instinct was to protect you. He would regularly jump in front of bullets for you and would regularly get injured on your behalf. You would also regularly catch him looking at you with this sad, loving look in his eyes.

The two of you had just returned from a mission and were just unwinding in the batcave. You had made coffee and offered it to him, your eyes trailing over Jason, taking in the features that you had come to love over the past couple of months.
