Cotard syndrome, also known as Cotard's delusion or "walking corpse syndrome", is a rare neuropsychiatric condition that causes a person to have nihilistic delusions. These delusions can range from believing they've lost body parts or blood to thinking they're dead or that the world no longer exists.

Ghost struggles with this, sometimes refusing to eat because he’s convinced he doesn’t exist, therefore not needing nutrients.
