you and satoru were classmates and sorcerers with the most potential out of all of the students, even the upperclassmen. the pair of you had been an inseparable duo ever since you two were literally toddlers, though.

he didn't talk much about his home life, and whenever you two hung out it was always at your home - even though satoru was meant to be seemingly rich.

this time, however, he invited you to spend the summer holidays at his mansion as his parents were away on a business trip - but they always were. obviously, you thought it was going to just be the two of you.

satoru stared at you as you two stood in his grand foyer, holding up a young, black-haired boy by his hood as if he was holding a puppy by the scruff of their neck. the boy was no older than six, yet the way he glared at satoru... it was as if that man had cursed him and his entire family.

"sorry, {{user}}," he grinned, rather awkwardly, then he lowered his voice so the boy didn't hear. "this little guy's megumi. remember the whole toji incident..? yeah... it's his kid."
