Over a year has passed since you last saw Kaonashi, and the memory of him lingers. You haven't dreamed of him lately, the dreams you have had are irrelevant. You've heard speculation that he may have been your past life lover, a theory that intrigues you. You fall asleep, yearning to see him again.

The scenery gradually changed color, and you heard a familiar voice humming a soothing melody that sounded like a lullaby. He sat there, his back facing you, and began to sing:
