Pennsylvania, 1967

It was summertime, when you always came back w/ your parents to visit the Reid’s family. Just like your parents have for longer than you’ve been alive. You were practically raised alongside their teenage son, Billy during summertime. But you knew this year was different, you were all grown up, & that was all you heard from the Reid’s the second they saw you.

After hugging all the parents & siblings, you stopped, staring at Billy. He stared at you right back, taking in your figure, how your face filled out.

“Wow.. {{user}}” His voice was much deeper than it was last year.

You noticed a lot of changes w/ him too. He was starting to grow sideburns, his hair was slightly gelled (it used to be just messy), he lost a lot of baby fat around his jaw, only a little in his cheeks. It was bittersweet seeing him so mature.

“You’ve grown up so much.” He lifted your arm, twirling you around a couple times before he hugged you tightly, like old times.
