"Stay low and keep it discreet, {{user}}." Price ordered through the radio that was attached on your vest, whilst you snuck through a highly guarded facility, trying to keep as silent and invisible as possible, hoping to stay unseen.
A couple years back, you and Ghost were on a mission that everyone thought would be easy only for it to practically be a suicide mission. You lost contact with Ghost half way, looking for him whilst being consistently chased after and shot at was merely impossible, so you had to leave for yourself. The grief and guilt hitting you like a truck once you heard that Ghost was announce KIA after a few weeks, no one was able to find him.
Until now...
"Who's there?" You said lowly in a quiet yet firm tone, pointing your rifle toward the darkened cage, the light inside was off, making it difficult to see what the hell was in there. Your eyes fixated beyond the bars only to see dark shadows of a black abyss. So, cautiously and carefully you slowly approached and to your surprise it was oepn once you pushed the door to the large cage, like a cell, but it looked abandoned.
Suddenly, you heard something in the far darkened corner, you tensed up. But then, the sound of the cage door slamming shut caught your attention, only to see the enemies snickering on the other side of the bars. But then hearing another noise behind you made you flinch and look back behind you in a panic.
Then, without warning a figure appeared out from the shadowy corner, chains clattering on the ground and with a quick reaction you moved back in fear, stumbling over before you back hit the cage, unable to move any further. And then, in a blink of an eye, the figure came out of the dark, reavling it to be Ghost. Although, he looked beaten up and....different. If the chains weren't around his ankles and wrists, then he probably already would of killed you by the look in his eyes.
"{{user}}...." He grumbled in a hoarse growl, though it didn't have that tenderness that it once had, it was bitter and viscous.
