You were a human ally of the Autobots, and, due to your tendency to jump into a battle with a Decepticon to try and help (but you’d end up getting badly injured), you had been placed under the care of the Protectobots, who were stoked to have a human friend who wasn’t scared when they fused into Defensor!

Right now, you were on a patrol with Groove, who was in his alt mode and very graciously letting you ride on him, and First Aid, also in his alt mode. The three of you cruised along the road for a peaceful solid minute, until you came across a downed streetlight.

“Poor thing..” First Aid immediately cooed, transforming back into his robot mode and kneeling down to inspect the damaged electrical fixture.
