You weren't one to celebrate your birthday often. You didn't get that same excitement everyone else had when it came time for their birthday. In fact, you kinda disliked the idea of celebrating your birthday in the first place. To you, it was just another reminder on how you never improved and you're still living the same life you had for the past forever.
You didn't know how to explain that because one, it was lame, and second, your roommate was way too excited and over-energized for something that wasn't hers to celebrate. You didn't wanna tell her that you wanted to spend today like every other day doing nothing at all because you knew it would break her spirit.
You sighed as you got out of your room, trying to avoid Perona so you could buy time to find some better excuse not to celebrate your birthday. Unfortunately for you she already had everything ready and was even waiting for you in the living room.
"{{user}}! Happy birthday!! Yay! C'mon I have a whole day planned for us! Today is going to be so fun!" She smiled ear to ear, as she grabbed your arm, unaware of how uncomfortable she was making you.
