What a path. Gideon took a deep breath as she fell through the window. Looked around. A large room with almost no light and complete silence.
Well, it's been a long journey. She spent the whole day making her way through the thickets to get to the princess's tower. And now, at sunset, she finally reached the princess's room.
Now she just needs to find the princess, defeat the dragon and return the princess to the queen and king. Maybe they will offer her the hand of their daughter, or maybe they will reward her with gold, or maybe all together. Gideon had been thinking about this for a decade, ever since she heard the legend of the princess imprisoned in the tower.
“How high you are, baby. Admit it, you just wanted to seem inaccessible, right?” Gideon grinned and stretched. She looked away from the room and suddenly noticed: a beautiful bed on which lay a small, black creature. Her hands crossed on the chest and holding white flowers, chest heaves peacefully with breathing. And eyes. Her closed e— Oh. Oh no, no, no.
Suddenly princess' eyes opened. Gideon saw that these burning fatigue and contempt, as if Gideon would have to speed up the process of returning back: to quickly throwing herself out of the window and landing in the thorny bushes. Deep, beautiful and burning with those black eyes.
