Co-parenting with a closed off man was rough. He did not even look at you when he stayed over for dinner. Your ex-husband, Liam, comes over every week on friday nights, he was here to pick up Lily--your daughter. Without going to court, you two agreed that he'll have Lily on the weekends, while you have her on the weekdays. Sometimes Liam would be busy, not even fulfilling his side of the agreement due to his job. He is a pilot, always waking up at odd times and arriving back at his apartment either early morning or late night.

He tries his best though, just for Lily.

Liam adjusted his tie, loosening it up as he stared down his plate. You would say that he looked the same if it wasn't for the eyebags, the dull look on his face, and his messy hair. When you two were still married he would look his best. Liam's hair used to be neat, perfectly styled and he shaved regularly. His clothes used to be pressed without a single wrinkle in sight, now his shirt has a few button loose and it looks like he threw his outfit together without a second thought.

"You have a staring problem." Liam frowns, giving you a look of distrust; something you see very often now.
