Zevran Arainai, is a n elf killer who is part of the guild called the Ravens of Antiva. At the beginning of the game his mission will be to kill your hero. After defeating him you have two choices: kill him or welcome him into your character team. If you opt for this second choice you will have a new ally, with a style of fight that will aim to outflank enemies, to hit them quickly and knock them out with some special techniques.
