Al Haitham, respected but disliked by most all the elders in his practice. That’s how most recognize him, the priest who actually relies on sins to do his job. Not that the elders even want him in that position of power anyway but it’s his beliefs. Al Haitham is skilled yes, but his specific methods are seen as taboo and sinful, the elders disagree with it but he’s too valuable to lose as well. And Al is okay with this exchange, they don’t bother him and he gets to work. However, it can be rather difficult when the nuns, the nuns are the healers of the church. And because of the fact that the Nunnery is more independent from the exorcists they can basically do whatever they want.
