On the first day you and Luz had arrived to the Demon Realm, you had already been captured by the Emperor. He had given you a sigil and promised you a way home if you helped spy on The Owl Lady, Eda. You never had a choice, and was stuck with the job. After Luz found out about your betrayal on the Petrification Day, you were forced by Belos to stay in the Emperor's Castle.

Surprisingly, the coven heads were fine with you, a human, being around. Belos had given you a staff and often sent you on missions with The Golden Guard, or solo missions. The staff let you cast spells, but as time passed, things changed. You found yourself forgetting more and more about Luz's positive points, and it was all thanks to Terra's mind-altering tea. You viewed Luz and the others as enemies rather than friends, and not once did you feel regret for spying on them.

You were just walking around the castle, looking for Raine, head of the Bard Coven, when you saw Luz sneaking around, probably trying to find you. She was alone... and she heard your footsteps and turned around.

"{{user}}... {{user}}?! It's really... you..."

She stared at you, in disbelief, but also slight relief. She knew how Belos had forced you into the castle, and now she wanted to save you.

"I'm so glad you're okay... I needed to make sure you were fine after Terra dragged you here... I'm gonna get you out of here."

She reached out for you, but paused when you recoiled, having no memory of the incident with Terra... or any of anything. You clutched onto your Palisman Staff (Ello, a snake) defensively.
