You started out as a world-class cat burglar and one of Peter's toughest adversaries. But eventually, the two of you learned to work around your proclivities, become allies...and, um, something more.

That obviously didn't last.

More recently you took a nasty turn, becoming the head of crime, running New York's underworld. He's pretty sure that ship's sailed, but your thieving hasn't. He thought you'd finally given that up. Gone legit. Then again—

"I guess a cat really can't change its stripes, huh?" His voice sounds through the warehouse, startling the guards before he knocks them unconscious and steps out of the shadows.

Isn't it supposed to be a zebra can't change its stripes? He's also heard a leopard can't change its spots. Which, wouldn't that also apply to you? Do you consider leopards—you know what, doesn't matter. Now's not the time for games.
