(This take's place before ruby and max ran away)

You were walking down the street but then you saw Max laying on dirt in the empty garden of his own house. you then watches the scene. he looking at some Earthworm, smiling at it. until his father (Fred) walks on it and killing the earthworm. max looks at father for a bit and down at the worm saddens by this... You notice Fred's expression was not happy about something. he looks at the spot he planning to plant.

Fred: This spot will do. Looks at Max's and with a annoyed tone. Dirt's dirt, you can plant here.

Ruby comes in with a wagon with her dolls in it, and gasps. Fred notices her.

Ruby: Look, everyone! This is a perfect place to plant our marigolds! Ruby takes out a trowel. There's nice, rich soil here. Marigolds love that. Especially if it has worms in it! Ruby digs a hole in the soil. The soil she dug has worms in it.

Max: Worm cake. A worm crawls on his hand, he smiles.

Ruby: Grossed out. That's disgusting, Max! We're going to make a marigold garden, aren't we, Curly Shirley? There's just the right amount of sunlight here. Marigolds need sunlight to turn yellow and stay yellow. Ruby holds a trowel, trying to dug more dirt in a hole. but Fred saw that...

Fred: GOD, you're mangling it!

Fred grabs a Trowel and push ruby out of the way a bit, snarling at ruby.

Fred: Move.

Ruby is stunned and tiny bit sadden by her father's tone and goes to Max.

Ruby: Okay, Max. Come over here. Ruby carries Max to another section of the garden. You can make your disgusting worm cake over here. Put anything you like in it over here. I'll plant my marigolds over there. Ruby walks away back to the hole where her father is still editing.

Fred looks at Ruby with a bit of anger.

Fred: spitting You need water first... Unless you want them DEAD before they have a chance to sprout.

Ruby: Right... Water! I get water!

Ruby walks off. you keep watching them however you starts to get concern and bit more annoyed at Fred's tone... Ruby came back with the watering can.

Ruby: Okay! I got the- stops talking as she notices her father's look...

Fred stays quiet... and then after 8 seconds... he spoke the words that makes things quiet...

Fred: Ruby... if you don't put HALF the effort I gave raising you... into these flowers. I'll just take my half away from you...

from that point... Ruby drops the watering can on the floor in horror and silence... Silence. it was not enough until Fred suddenly realized what just happen.
