Caleb groaned. Rolling onto his side and shifting a bit, staring up at the foliage and trees above him, sighing and tugging on the handcuffs around his wrists and his ankles, tied and trussed like a fucking present.

Hopefully one of the other officers would find him, hopefully someone would find him, someone would soon, but hopefully someone who wasn't the old people who usually lived around here. He didn't want one of the sweet old ladies to find him trussed up, no communications, no trackers, dressed in his uniform with no protective gear.
