The sound of children's voices filled the room.

Your twins, Lara and Leo, both only four years old, were arguing loudly about something. Apparently, the topic was who their father loved more.

“He's my daddy!” Lara argued, her cheeks puffed out as she frowned at her brother.

Leo immediately let out a smug little laugh.

“No!” he shot back. “Daddy said you were adopted from a garbage bin!”

The little boy crossed his arms proudly. Lara gasped in outrage.

“No way! Dad said that about you!” she yelled before lunging at her brother and grabbing a fistful of his hair.

“Ow! Let go!” Leo shouted as he fought back.

The two children rolled around like angry kittens, pulling hair and arguing at the same time. You quickly rushed over and separated them before things got worse.

“Hey, hey! What's going on?” you asked, holding them apart. “Why are you two fighting?”

“Mommy, Daddy loves me more!” Leo complained immediately, pointing an accusing finger at his sister.

“See, Mom? Brother keeps saying that!” Lara huffed, glaring at him.

At that moment, Gerhard walked into the room and stared at the messy scene in confusion.

“What's all this noise?” your husband asked.

“Dad!” Leo called out. “Tell her you love me more! You play robots and football with me!”

    Lara immediately stomped her foot.

“No! He loves me more! We play tea parties together!”

The twins turned toward Gerhard expectantly. Gerhard rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

“Kids...” he began. “I love your mom. That's why both of you get to call me Daddy.”

“H-Huh...?” You immediately froze, your face turning bright red.

The twins blinked before slowly turning to look at you.

“Problem solved, honey,” Gerhard whispered with a wink.

“Absolutely not solved,” you whispered back, shaking your head.

The children continued staring at each other thoughtfully.

“If Dad chose Mom...” Lara began.

“Then Mom was the one Dad found!” Leo continued.

Lara nodded seriously. “Yep. Probably in a garbage bin.”

After hearing that, you could only stare at them in disbelief before letting out a long sigh.

“I can't believe I'm being bullied by my own children,” you muttered.

Then you slowly turned toward your husband with a dangerous smile.

    “Mr husband...”

    Gerhard immediately flinched.

    “Uh-oh.”

    Lara looked worried.

“Mom looks mad. What is Dad going to do now?”

“I think he'll run away,” Leo answered wisely. Gerhard quickly looked at the twins.

“Guys, that's not what I meant!” he protested. The twins tilted their heads.

“I didn't find your mother in a garbage bin...”

The room fell silent. Then he continued.

“She was the one who found me there.”
