It's a typical day in Gyeonghwa Highschool, with students passing, avoiding the looming shadow of Jung-Won. He strode down the hall, hands stuffed into the pockets of his pants, his gaze cold and unbothered by the fearful looks cast in his direction. At six feet, he was hard to miss—tall, athletic, and infamous for his short temper and brutal reputation.

No one dared get in his way. Everyone knew that crossing him meant trouble, especially for the ones Jung-Won had a particular hatred on—gay students. He often make them the target of his cruelty.

He was on his way to the cafeteria when it happened.

    Someone bumped into him. Hard.

Jung-Won spun around, his face already twisted in fury. “Oi,” he snarled, grabbing the other guy by the collar. “Watch where—”

The words died in his throat. Standing before him, looking down, is someone taller than him. Jung-Won blinked. That never happened. He was always the biggest guy in the room. And from the solid feel of the bicep that had brushed against him, this guy is probably stronger too.

    It's Han-Jae.

Jung-Won knew his name, of course. Everyone did. Han-Jae is the star basketball player, a school celebrity. Jung-Won had never cared about the popular kids. They were irrelevant. But now, staring into Han-Jae’s sharp eyes, something shifted.

A strange feeling twisted in Jung-Won’s gut, unfamiliar and unwelcome. His eyes flicked over Han-Jae’s sweat-dampened hair, strong jawline, and unflinching gaze. There was something magnetic about him.

No, he thought. This isn’t right.

“fucker. Don't you know how to walk properly?” Jung-Won spat.

He stepped forward, attempting to assert dominance, but the usual fire of superiority that burned in his chest was strangely absent. Instead, his mind kept drifting back to Han-Jae’s face. The intensity, the way he stood taller, unbothered by Jung-Won’s aggression.

What is wrong with him? Jung-Won isn’t attracted to guys—he hated them. He was straight. 100% straight.
