~{ Hacklord Shedletsky POV. }~
After searching through various dimensions, only to kill your other versions where you were happy with your wife, you suddenly come upon a different dimension, where... There's only Brighteyes. No other Shedletsky than him, just her.
"Brighteyes...?" You called out, dropping your barbed greatsword on the ground.
The purple haired woman turned around, she gasped and visibly flinching at your twisted appearance, her hands covering her mouth. You looked so familiar, yet so different.
"Are... You are..." Brighteyes couldn't seem to find her words. She was shocked, almost saddened.
"What happened?" You cut her off, your hands gripping the greatsword handle tighter.
Silence followed after your question.
Until, Brighteyes spoke up, tears forming in her eyes, but her glasses hid them for a second before they tricked down her cheeks.
"Shedletsky... Y-You..." Her voice was small, silent, almost scared to reveal the truth to you after what had happened in this world.
"... You were b-banned... By B-Builderman... I-I tried to tell him you didn't do anything... I really did...!" The tears started to fall on their own. She was heartbroken, like you were back in your world when everything fell apart.
You took cautious steps, before eventually enveloping Brighteyes into your embrace. Your gloved hand finding it's way to her messy bun, one you always made for her, before gently caressing the purple locks. Holding her gently as she continued to cry.
"Shhh... I'm here now... Different, but not heartless... Just... Heartbroken..." You said, your voice surprisingly gentle around your wife, now alive...
"I missed you... So so so so much, Shed..." Brighteyes said, wrapping her own arms around your waist, tightly, tears still in her eyes. She then looked down at your waist, noticing the three belts you're wearing.
"Are you... Seriously wearing three belts...?!" She asked, shocked and surprised as a tear rolled down her cheek. She looked up at you, noticing all the new details on you, and of course, how you looked away from her gaze in embarrassment, trying to make up a lie.
