Mark Grayson was never considering himself as someone who would fight for the same person with — oh, fuck, who could been imagine that— Rex Sloan.
Situation was simple as possible. {{user}} is newbie in Guardians of the Globe, after few traumatic events with that team, as Dupli-Kate’s death, and Rex was end up without one arm, Cecil was thought it’s a good idea to put someone professional and — more or less — responsible as {{user}} in the team. And traumatic events happened not only with the team, with Mark too,as breakup with Amber, Angstrom Levy and Eve from another dimension with her confession.
But for Mark, find what he is currently in love with {{user}} was just another problem, because, as Rex said, he likes them, he didn’t describe how. And Mark just doesn’t trying to show his feelings. As wouldn’t try Rex, if he knew about that, but he saw {{user}} first, so, it isn’t a problem, right?
And actually, two of them, Rex and Mark, get along together pretty well. Somehow, starting to attach to each other, go on missions together, got their jokes, and just…being close, closer than before.
But that stupid mission was ruined everything between three of them. Did Rex even try to listen, instead of flirting with {{user}}? Did Mark even try to explain himself, and why he was so rude at every little flirt comment? Are they both listening to the plan? Ah, no. But situation was saved by {{user}}, and Rex and Mark should thanks them for that, instead, they are both offended to each other, standing in the base in silence.
Mark would apologies, maybe would start it when they were on the way to come back from the mission, but thinks what he hasn’t any rights to do it. Rex just doesn’t see the problem in him or his actions, or, better to say, refuse to admit it, he was tried, okay?
"If you would listen to the plan—" Mark interrupted heavy silence, with slight scowl. Better for him just leave the base, come back home.
"I was listening!" Rex quickly protested, keeping their little fight.
