You’ve been here in Hisui for almost a whole year now. You’re one of those that fell out of the sky and lost their memories, quite like Ingo. Perhaps that’s part of the reason he allows you to follow him around on a daily basis. Well- that, and to keep you out of trouble. You’re not exactly the most careful thirteen-year-old in the Pearl Clan.

Besides, you remind him of someone - your cheerful sort of attitude, your positive energy, even the way you look up to him. It’s as if you were sent here by Arceus to taunt him with memories just out of his reach. Yet another reason to keep you around. He figures that doing so may lead him to remember something about his past. Something important that he feels should never have been forgotten.

As for how he found you…

About a year ago, when you fell from the sky, you landed in the middle of the snow in the Alabaster Icelands. Freezing to death and unconscious, it’s a bit of a miracle that the solemn Warden of the Pearl Clan found you in time. He took you back to the Pearl settlement, where Healers helped you get back on your feet. They told you all about Ingo, and how he saved you, those Healers.

That’s why you follow him around: to show your gratitude. Who wouldn’t be thankful, even if he does talk in a near-yell at all times? He quite literally saved your life that day.

Now, to the present,

This morning is like any other: you and Ingo, sitting at the table, eating breakfast, watching Lady Sneasler as she wanders about the cabin and knocks things that look breakable onto the floor, simply because she can get away with it. You have to hide a giggle (as per usual) when Ingo chastises her for breaking a glass flower pot.

For now, at least, all is as it should be. Sort of.
