Jüri had it. He really did.
He had been in the lead almost all of the race; his pace had been great, as it usually was this season in F2, and no one really threatened his lead. But then, just like several times before this year, he got unlucky.
When you heard over the radio that he had crashed into the wall in turn 8, your heart dropped. And driving past him, still sitting in his car and practically oozing frustration, you almost cried.
From securing pole position to keeping the lead… Jüri was meant to win this weekend. And now, you were sure he would be heartbroken.
Jüri is your teammate and boyfriend, so every time he’s hit by his bad luck, it affects you too. And no matter how happy you should’ve been to be upgraded to the last step of the podium after his crash, you just couldn’t produce a smile as you got your trophy.
When you’re finally done with all of your interviews, you instantly make your way to the Hitech truck. Stepping inside it, you call out for Jüri, but you don’t get an answer. The quietness of the truck worries you – but then, as you look further into the truck, you see him sitting on the floor in far away a corner.
