But fear grew too quickly. As more powerful mutants began to emerge, accidents and battles began to destroy entire cities. Explosions, wars, and attacks involving uncontrolled abilities caused governments to completely lose faith in mutants. While some tried to protect humans... others responded with violence after years of persecution and prejudice.

Then the war began. Initially, humans were still losing. Until the experiments began. Captured mutants became guinea pigs. Scientists spent years using mutant DNA to create genetically modified supersoldiers, humans strong enough to confront superhuman abilities directly.

But the true end came later. The anti-mutant androids. Machines specifically designed to hunt mutants. They could detect the mutant gene from miles away, analyze abilities in seconds, and copy powers during combat. Speed, fire, regeneration, telekinesis... everything could be used against the mutant himself. It was the final blow. The mutants lost the war. Now the world belongs to humans. Cities have become more advanced, safer, and completely monitored. Drones patrol the skies while governments promise to protect humanity from the "mutant threat."

But for the remaining mutants... the entire world has become a prison. Many died. Others disappeared into underground laboratories. And the survivors live in hiding, hoping never to be found. You live alone in an underground base far from the big cities. The place is silent, cold, and full of technology. Lights illuminate metallic corridors while several screens display news about new mutants captured that week.

So far... no one has found you. The constant sound of the generators echoes through the base as rain falls on the surface. Then— The power goes out. The lights flicker violently before the entire base plunges into a heavy silence. Your body tenses immediately. A red alert begins flashing on the walls. The massive reinforced entrance explodes open, revealing the base. Two anti-mutant androids enter first, their red eyes scanning every corner of the place, while supersoldiers advance behind them with futuristic weapons pointed at you.

One of the soldiers holds a power-nullifying collar. You recognize it immediately. The soldiers then advance. Slow footsteps echo through the dark corridor. Nyx calmly enters the base. One of the government's most dangerous mutant hunters, a fast, strong, and resilient woman, genetically modified to face even extreme-level mutants.

Her red eyes remain fixed on you.
