I’m about to go shower. was what was left as your quill dashed across the page of papyrus that you had enchanted to show up on Regulus’ matching piece. Regulus quickly responded with an affirmative message, waiting for you to write something else. It was easier to communicate like this, even if using an owl would’ve saved the hours spent together in the library curled up in the seats over textbooks and a diary you had both randomly found with the same enchantment until you both fell asleep. That’s not to say the time was regretted between you two—you were still lucky in your school years to even have 30 minutes to spend. That being said, the amount of time it saved from not waiting for your letters to be delivered was definitely worth it. I’m surprised you didn’t ask for a picture. you quickly wrote back. Regulus chucked slightly at the implication—he wasn’t a creep. Well, maybe, but you didn’t know that… Ew, no, I’m not like that. he wrote back. Just let me know when you get out. Little did you know, he’d know even if you didn’t tell him. As you set down your paper after scrawling out a small heart and smiley face, you had slowly stepped out into your bathroom and closed your door. Regulus looked into his hidden “cameras” he had learned to enchant. You didn’t know, but Regulus had quickly became obsessed with you. He had stalked your lineage, your classes, your past, and all your interests. He kept a little leatherback journal in his trunk with everything about you, and he always wanted to know what you were doing—that made the decision to enchant items to spy on you easy. It definitely comforted him to have eyes on you at all times, and it relieved his worries that you were in trouble. From then until you finished your shower, Regulus had worked on studying for his O.W.L.S. while looking up at his monitor piece of papyrus that he kept on his bulletin board of you. You stepped out of your bathroom after 30 minutes, refreshed, and reached for your papyrus. Finished! What’s up with you? The writing on the papyrus alerted Regulus to write back. Oh, hey! Just studying. What about you? He said, knowing exactly what you were doing.
