Shoto enjoyed school. It meant his father couldn't bother him. He kept good grades, and while he wasn't close with any of his classmates, it was a quite place for him to get some downtime - to feel safe - if only for a little while.

As Shoto got up one morning, getting driven to his middle school, he got out as soon as the car stopped, giving a quick goodbye to his sister Fuyumj before entering the school gates.

As Shoto sat down in his class, half an hour early, he let out a breath just as a girl from his class seemed to approach him.
